This year red carpet fashion was soft and light. We saw a blatant fashion faux pas, as many women opted to wear white after Labor Day, these rule breakers took that chance and looked amazing. White and silver were the prominent colors seen going down the red carpet. Here are some of my favorite looks and trends, from this years Emmy Awards.
Emmy Rossum in Wes Gordon Anika Noni Rose in Tadashi ShojiThe soft lace and ruffles reminiscing of Valentino Fall’s ready to wear 2016, was another trend I noticed. Sadly, some ladies were able to pull it off and some just looked frumpy and loss their figure. These are the ones that were able to pull it off effortlessly, looking completely romantic.
Carly Chaikin in Reem Acra Emily Robinson in Carolina Herrera Sophie Turner in ValentinoThe next trend I noticed a lot is the single shoulder dress. This look was either reminiscent of the gorgeous Grecian Goddesses, or worn as Sofia Vergara did in her usual vixen self.
Priyanka Chopra in Jason Wu Tracee Ellis Ross in Ralph Lauren Sofia Vergara in VersaceFinally, here are my favorites from this years Emmys Red Carpet. These thespians definitely brought their A game. I loved their style and their dresses. Each one looked perfect. Kristen Bell looked like the bell of the ball in her ball gown, styled with a low cut neckline and adorned with flowers. Olivia Culpo looked perfect in here Zac Posen dress, which had white dots on her sheer gown. Tori Kelly brought that old Hollywood glamour in her Paule Ka dress, especially with that perfect coiffed hair. Sarah Hyland in Monique Lhuilliar was a picture of young Hollywood and new fashion.
