The award show is being held this year at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. I have compiled a list of my favorite looks from this seasons award show. I noticed there was a lot of tulle being used in various dresses. I also loved seeing all the soft colors gliding down the red carpet. So here are my choices in no particular order. Let me know what you think.
Emma Stone has won yet again for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a leading role for LA LA Land. Let me say she looks radiant in this deconstructed dress by Alexander McQueen. Congrat’s Emma.
Michelle Williams was nominated in the same category for Manchester by the Sea. She didn’t win, but definitely looked like a winner in this metallic strip ensemble by Louis Vuitton.
Taraji P. Henson made sure you know who she is with this head turning dress by Reem Acra.
Thandie Newton had on a gorgeous detailed gown, depicting a Ferris Wheel and running horses, with a cool single shoulder cap sleeve designed by Schiaparelli.
I absolutely love this strip dress that Yara Shahidi decided to wear. The silhouette and colors fit perfect to her figure and face. Well done to her stylist.
Sofia Vergara opted out on her signature body hugging dress for this red carpet. Instead she went for a black and white cocktail dress, it is fun and flirty and she still pulled it off. She opted for her favorite designer yet again and went with a Zuhair Murad.
Emily Blunt looked like this dress was made for her. It just suited her skin tone and body so well. She is wearing Roberto Cavalli.
Clair Foy did way better this time around, and opted to wear Valentino. I love the soft tulle with the embroidered flowers all over. Congrat’s on the Win.
Samantha Isler chose is gorgeous green gown by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
Octavia Spencer went for peplum style dress that accentuated all her curves. She looked amazing with this imaginary off the shoulder black gown by Tadashi Shoji.
